Men’s basketball sits at a 1-7 record after 8 games including two tournament games at Sewanee and one exhibition game against Appalachian State University (not included in record). The 87-81 point win for the Owls was against local rival Brevard College.
8 games into the season, the Warren Wilson self-proclaimed-Lady-Owls women’s basketball team fairs similar to the men’s. They sit at a 0-7 record going into Wednesday’s exhibition game against division 1 school UNC at Asheville. Facing injuries and sickness, the team most recently lost to Bob Jones University on Monday Nov. 28 scoring 70-28. During this game, senior post player Catherine Causby picked up a double-double. Sophomore Moosie Lewis shot 6 for 11 from three and picked up 18 points.
