Wilson Critters Weekly 3/3

Marshall Alvarado | March 3, 2025

Icarus Aviles, a senior, has been bringing her 7-year-old cat, a short-haired tortoiseshell named Morgana Aloysius Bratcat, to campus for the last four years. Aviles describes her cat’s personality as very sassy and outspoken, making her opinions known to everyone around. Morgana has an odd but strong taste for kale salad and mushrooms, taking bites and running off with them. Morgana is an official emotional support animal who loves to receive visitors and their pats.

Olivia Over, a first-year student, has been bringing their 1-year-old cat, a brown tabby named Ziggy, to campus since they returned from Thanksgiving break last semester. Over says they got the inspiration for Ziggy’s name from her different pupil sizes, which reminded them of David Bowie. Over describes Ziggy as a vocal and sweet cat. Ziggy is an unofficial emotional support pet who likes to say hello when going out for walks.
