November Planetary Transitions

Starting out the month strong is a full moon and total lunar eclipse in Taurus on Nov. 8 at 6:02 a.m. People are often much more influenced by the moon when full, and due to the lunar eclipse, this energy may sneak up. A full moon in Taurus indicates a very necessary night of rest and sufficient snacking. Nov. 23 hosts a new moon in Sagittarius, peaking at 5:57 p.m. This new moon may create a lot of suppressed frustration and an innate urge to act.

Mercury will move into Sagittarius on Nov. 17 at 3:42 a.m. This planet rules communication. Because Sagittarius is a fighter, its influence on Mercury may lead to rash arguments and more heated and fast-paced interactions. Sagittarius can also be stubborn, meaning that people who err will be less likely to own up to it or admit their faults.

Nov. 16 marks Sagittarius’ movement into Venus. Planet of love and intimacy occupying this zodiac may make for passionate sparks in people's love lives. It is likely that while Venus moves through this sign, people will feel high highs and low lows in their relationships. Self-love may also take a bolder stance.

To close out the month, Jupiter resumes direct motion on Nov. 23 at 6:02 p.m. Interesting to note is that two of the major planetary events occurring this month take place at circadian opposites: 6:02 in the morning and in the evening. Jupiter is on the last legs of its time in Pisces! This direct motion will be the last push outward. This planet’s influence appears in our lives with an emotional and passionate desire for growth. We take on a more positive outlook on our lives and operate with more compassion for both ourselves and others. Take advantage of this last stretch of good Pisces energy before Jupiter makes its grand entrance into Aries.
