Wyatt Layton is a writer new to both Warren Wilson College and The Echo. He was born and raised in Laguna Beach, California and transferred to WWC from Hampshire College (RIP) this fall. He is double majoring in Art and Creative Writing, and hopes to cover anything to do with the plight of small Liberal Arts schools and academia’s intersections with politics. When not hunched over a computer, Wyatt can be found playing pool by the mailroom, eating honey sticks, or taking photos when the light hits the leaves on the trees just right.
