Elliott is entering his first semester as a writer on the Echo. He grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, but moved to the Asheville area at a young age. A senior Sociology and International Studies major, he enjoys covering political happenings in the local area and the campus semi-substantiated rumor mill. Before being on the Echo, he worked on Academic Support for six semesters. Outside of school, he enjoys doing Muay Thai, playing trumpet kind of poorly, and playing piano a little bit better.
