Working Hands: Pig Crew

This past Monday the Warren Wilson Pig Crew was hard at work in the heat! Making sure all of the pigs were fed and had clean water. I was lucky enough to be present while the crew was herding a group of recently acquired pigs, to tag them with their ID numbers and give them their de-worming shots.
The hands of this crew truly tell a story, whether they are covered in mud, taking down weights, or teaching the pigs how to do tricks, it is apparent that this crew and these animals have an extraordinary bond.
