Love Letters to Nature: Black Bear

Alder Donovan-Cook | April 25, 2024

Dearest Black Bear,

The love I hold for you is indescribable

Vaster even than your Autumn paunch

I love watching you rustle through trash

Terrorizing the students of WWC without a thought in that big bear head

To the chaos that ensues around you

No concept of commotion

Of disturbance

Only you and whatever caught your eye

In the bearproof can that no student

Seems to be able to close properly

Enjoy your stolen feast my friend

Maybe the student you jumpscare on your way back to the woods will remember to close it

Next time.
